Terrific Taster Day

It has been wonderful to hear such positive feedback from adults and children after the Year 2 'Taster Day' on Tuesday. In the morning, our new Juniors Strandites met their class teacher and support staff and completed some super maths and reading activities. Playtime and lunchtime were great fun as everybody started to learn the new routines and all showed how #spirited and #supportive they are. The afternoon was a chance to spend some time with our specialist staff. Mr Murray's French lesson was 'très bon!', PE with Mr Bentley was "super active and fun" and in Computing Mrs Donovan and Mrs Ristic taught everybody to log onto Sumdog on Chromebooks #scholarly. Handovers with our Infant colleagues will continue and the Year 2s will have another lesson with their new teacher and share show songs with the Year 6s towards the end of term.
