Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel to School

Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel inspires pupils to make active journeys to school, improve air quality in their neighbourhood and discover how these changes benefit their lives. This year the challenge will run from next Monday 11th March – Friday 22 March 2024. We are encouraging as many children to walk, cycle, scoot to school as possible during this time.

Each day our year 6 team captains will record how children travel to school, these results will then be entered into Sustrans for a chance to win prizes for our school. The more children who can show active travel to school, the higher the leaderboard Strand will get!
