Red Nose Day Fun

Strand has been celebrating Red Nose Day with a vast array of activities. We kicked off the week with a
magnificent cake sale, thank you to all those who donated cakes for us to sell. This morning we held our
own Mini Olympics, with Red Noses at the heart our activities. The children had lots of fun competing
against each other in some nose and spoon races, nose relays and shoot the nose through the hoop. We have definitely got some future Olympians in our midst! During assembly we learnt which teachers would be receiving a makeover with a twist. Mr Dienn and Mr Alkins were turned into punk rockers, along with Isobel 4D, Gracie 3C and Kanyl 3N. The makeover was stunning, special thanks to Mrs Branch, Ms Heath and Miss Weir who provide dthe outfits and expertise. We finished the day off with ‘Strand’s Got Talent’. We watched 12 finalists take to the stage and share their amazing talents. Well done to all who took part. Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our Red Nose Day celebrations, your efforts helped us to raise a whopping £450 for a great cause.
