Primary Maths Challenge
Several pupils from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Primary Maths Challenge last week. It is a fun mathematical challenge taken by children across the UK and is designed to encourage enthusiasm and boost confidence. The children took the 25 tricky questions in their stride and performed brilliantly with many of them receiving Bronze or Silver awards. Frederick, Marina, Catherine and Finn D all achieved high scores and were awarded Gold certificates. We have joint Strand champions this year... well done Alice L and Brodie.
For anyone wanting another maths challenge, the first Hounslow Sumdog contest of the year starts today and continues until Thursday evening. Answer at least 100 questions as accurately as possible to earn an item for your Sumdog house and help your team to victory. Good luck!
