Open Day

It was lovely to see so many of you at our Open Day yesterday. The children loved showing their work and explaining life at Strand to the many visitors who joined us. Thank you to our ambassadors Jimmy, Maia, Lily, (Yr6),  Francis, Lucy and Eli (Yr5), Amelia, Messi and Leah (Yr4), Samara, Anna and Archie (Yr3) – there was universal praise for the warm welcome offered and many visitors commented on how confident and proud the children were of their school.  There was a very good turnout of Year 2 parents at the meeting and during the guided tour which followed. They were impressed with the ambassadors and by the fantastic learning behavior on show in the classrooms. If any Year 2 parents were unable to make it, the presentation can be viewed here.
