New Faces and New Names

A special welcome to the new children who have joined us, both in Year 3 and across the school. They have made a fantastic start and are beginning to look like Strandites already! We also have a new face amongst the staff. Sorcha Kennedy Alexander has settled in well and wowed the children with her talents at the first assembly of the year – who would have guessed she was a Bollywood star! Not only did we learn more about Sorcha but Kevin Thorne also took the stage in the welcome assembly. Although Kev is not technically a new member of staff, he also shared some secret talents making the children roar with laughter at his ballroom dancing skills and dazzling them with his white shirt.
