The whole school daily reading lessons, either in reading groups or in class Readers' Theatre sessions, are a real highlight of the day. It is vital that the children are also reading at home everyday. Reading books need to be brought into school everyday so that we can monitor what is being read and to help children to make the best book choices to read at home. Library books need to be brought in on the day your child visits the library. Year 3 visit on Monday, Year 4 Wednesday, Year 5 Tuesday and Year 6 on Thursday. If they have finished their book, and are keen to change their book before their day, obviously we are happy if they do so.
