Fantastic Fireworks

Well done to everyone who was involved in organising the Friends’ Fireworks yesterday which went off without a hitch. The weather was kind and the fireworks were, as usual, amazing. The evening had a great community feel with lots of ex pupils and families coming back to see us. There was lots of positive feedback from families as they left. So our thanks to the Friends mulled-wine makers, stall-managers and organisers. It is their hard work that makes these events seem so effortless. Special mention to Betty Xiao who made the beautiful poster for Fireworks Night at home during half term – lots of visitors commented on how beautiful it was and what a talented artist had created it. Well done Betty!

Stop press – the numbers have just been crunched and the Friends made a huge £3,373.77 after
expenses. Fantastic!
