Calling All Artists

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about submitting some of your fantastic artwork to two very exciting art competitions! This year, both the competitions have similar closing dates, so we are asking for just one piece of artwork that will then be submitted into both competitions. These are the Fourth Plinth Schools Award and The Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer show. Last year, we had two winning entries from Strand in the Fourth Plinth competition and Harlow’s submission even went on display at St Martin in the Fields crypt in Trafalgar Square!

How to enter

There isn’t a theme for either competition. Entries can be in all art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage and digital design. Group and individual entries are welcome. You must complete an artwork submission form (click this link or you can pick up a physical form from the office). You can either bring in your entry to the office, alongside the submission form, or take a picture of it yourself at home and then email it to the office, to be forwarded to Miss Marron. All artworks must be submitted by Thursday 26th February at the latest. Any questions, please ask Miss Marron.
