6J's Assembly

6J started the day with a brilliant assembly on the theme of light. The assembly was enchanting with shadow puppets, dancing, glow sticks and beautiful singing. The whole assembly was based around the theme of 6J being stranded in a library without any light – it was fantastic to see them resorting to good old fashioned books to find a way out of their predicament. On the way they found and shared lots of information about light, how it impacts on our world and brings hope. The shadow puppet retelling of the story of Diwali was a highlight. Well done to 6J, Mrs Jennings and Mr Allkins for putting together such an extravaganza.
