When your child joins us at Strand, we will expect them to work and play hard and take part with enthusiasm in the life of the school and its community. We will expect them to co-operate with adults and with other children, show good manners, behave well and abide by our code of practice for behaviour. We expect them to listen, inquire, question, discuss, challenge and reflect. In this way, we hope they will learn tolerance and respect, and celebrate the differences that make each one of us unique. We will expect that they take care of their own belongings, the property of school mates and the school environment. We have a clear Managing Behaviour Policy, which is known and adhered to by all members of the school community.
