Team Captains Elected

This week the Junior school has been caught up in election frenzy as the children in Year 5 have been standing for election as team captains. A huge number of children stood for office and made great speeches during the hustings. The school has been plastered with posters as candidates worked hard to canvass votes. The election was held yesterday in the Hall, which served as a polling station,  and the results were announced in assembly today. It was a close run election and all the Year 5 candidates showed great confidence and courage in standing for office. The new team captains are:

We wish them well for their term in office which properly begins in September. Thank you to the outgoing captains who have had a great year and managed the year’s events brilliantly. They still have a few events to go before the Inter House Cup is awarded at the end of term.
