Sports Day

The sporting summer continues at Strand Juniors, with Sports Day today. The weather was much kinder and the rain held off. Mr Wretham and the team were out at the crack of dawn setting up and we had lots of willing helpers. The competition went smoothly and the children got the chance to show off their skills with the mix of competitive races and team activities being as popular as ever. Thank you to Mr Wretham who worked hard both in goal and in setting up the event. The team totals are added to the running totals for the Inter House Cup which will be awarded at the end of term. Thank you to all the adult helpers who manned the stations and to all the parents who encouraged the teams.
